Thank you choosing to download ECM 4.9.1, the next evolution in systems management. ECM 4.9.1 utilizes a new Suite Installer that unifies and simplifies the installation process. Please note that the new ECM Suite Installer requires a new License Key. License Keys have been sent to the Authorized License Key Recipient(s) for your company as designated in your Customer First Profile. Please ensure you have your license key before proceeding. If you do not have a license key, please check your profile in My Account on the Customer First Portal for a list of Authorized License Key Recipient(s). If no License Key Recipient(s) are listed please contact your Account Team or Customer Support.
As you plan your install or upgrade of ECM, here are a few points to keep in mind:
- The ECM 4.9 Hardware and Software Requirements and Upgrade Planning Guide documents contain important information, much of which has changed from earlier versions of ECM, that will help you ensure your systems are ready to install ECM 4.9.1. Please make sure that you obtain the latest versions of this and the other documentation as listed in this page. Please read these documents thoroughly as part of your planning process.
- ECM's new Suite Installer is used for the installation of all ECM components. As such, only one license file is needed, which will include core ECM and all optional licensed modules.
- If you are currently running ECM in a "split" configuration (separate Collector and SQL Server), you must contact Configuresoft support to obtain required upgrade tools prior to beginning your ECM 4.9.1 upgrade.
- We strongly recommend that you obtain a full system and SQL Server backup of the ECM Collector and ECM databases prior to starting an upgrade to ECM 4.9.1.
- To simplify upgrade of ECM installations, Configuresoft's Professional Services team is currently offering ECM 4.9.1 Upgrade Services at a packaged price.
- The ECM 4.9 CP&C content pack is available for download.
