E. Alexander Goldstein
Chief Executive Officer

Alexander Goldstein has more than 25 years of executive management experience in the software, manufacturing, oil, gas and mining, and financial services industries. Prior to joining Configuresoft, Mr. Goldstein was Senior Vice President, Consumer Credit Policy and Electronic Commerce for Bank One Corporation. He has managed both domestic and international businesses, and provided consulting services in turnaround management and merger and acquisitions for start-ups and publicly traded companies. He has also held senior management positions at British Petroleum. Mr. Goldstein holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business, and a BA from New College in Sarasota, Florida.

Dennis Moreau, Ph.D.
Chief Technology Officer

As a Founder and the Chief Technology Officer for Configuresoft, Dennis Moreau is a specialist in the application of leading edge technologies to the solution of complex problems in the Information Technology management domain. Mr. Moreau's primary focus is in developing enterprise scale solutions to improve IT efficiency and effectiveness for systems management, security compliance and configuration optimization. Mr. Moreau works actively with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and MITRE on the development of security configuration policy compliance standards, where he serves on the MITRE OVAL Board of Directors. Prior to founding Configuresoft, Mr. Moreau was the associate vice president and chief technology officer for Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). Mr. Moreau holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science.

Steven M. Johnson
Chief Financial Officer

Steven M. Johnson brings more than 20 years of financial leadership as Chief Financial Officer to Configuresoft. Prior to joining Configuresoft, Mr. Johnson served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Optika, Inc, a software company where he raised more than $30 million in multiple equity rounds and piloted the company's initial public offering. Before Optika, Mr. Johnson was Chief Financial Officer at Insurance Auto Auctions, where he helped to grow revenue from $14 million to more than $50 million, participated in negotiations for multiple acquisitions and completed an initial public offering and secondary offering. Mr. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Dave Shackleford
Chief Security Officer

Dave Shackleford is the Chief Security Officer at Configuresoft where he also heads the Center for Policy and Compliance, a group focused on developing controls for industry and regulatory compliance initiatives. Previously, he worked as CTO for both the Center for Internet Security and a security consulting firm in Atlanta, where he became one of the first Visa-certified Qualified Security Assessors while managing the firm's PCI compliance practice. Dave has managed information security for a several Fortune 500 companies and has consulted with hundreds of organizations in the areas of regulatory compliance, security and network architecture and engineering. Dave currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Technology Association of Georgia's Information Security Society and the SANS Technology Institute.

Michael Dunbar
Executive Vice President, Global Sales & Operations

Michael Dunbar brings over 15 years of industry experience to Configuresoft. Prior to his promotion to head Sales & Operations, Mr. Dunbar led Configuresoft's eastern region where he rapidly expanded revenue, grew the customer base and penetrated the Federal market. Before joining Configuresoft, Mr. Dunbar spent four years at Securify, growing Federal revenue from zero to $14 million. Prior to Securify, Mr. Dunbar served as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for the United States Marine Corps Information Technology & Network Operations Center. Mr. Dunbar received the Copernicus Award as one of the top information technology professionals in the federal government. Mr. Dunbar holds a BS degree in management science and information systems from Pennsylvania State University and an MS degree in information and telecommunications systems management from Capitol College.

Mike Paschal
Executive Vice President, Product Group

Mike Paschal brings more than 20 years experience as a leader with enterprise software companies to Configuresoft. Prior to joining Configuresoft, Mr. Paschal served as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer for Requisite Technology (acquired by Click Commerce). Mr. Paschal began his management career with Sequent Computer Systems and subsequently held executive positions with Sun Microsystems, Clarify, Inc., and NAVIS LLC. Mr. Paschal earned his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of North Texas.

Jason Cowie
Vice President, Product Management

As Vice President of Product Management, Jason Cowie brings over 12 years experience building successful systems management and security companies. Most recently, Mr. Cowie was responsible for the Analytics product line where he primarily focused on improving IT efficiency and effectiveness in Fortune 500 organizations through the application of ITIL, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis. He has held various senior management roles spanning sales, business development, consulting, and product marketing at Microsoft, Scalable Software, and Mission Critical Software (merged with NetIQ in 2000). Mr. Cowie received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, and completed graduate studies in Information Technology at the University of Victoria.

Chris Farrow
Vice President, Market Strategy

With over 18 years of experience in systems engineering and security, Chris' background crosses several industries including the US Marine Corps, healthcare, manufacturing, investment banking and software development. Most recently, Chris has held several positions at Configuresoft including that of Director in the Product Group, and he was the founder of the Center for Policy and Compliance (CP&C). Prior to Configuresoft, Chris held product management and engineering positions for several well known vendors including NetIQ, Intrusion.com and BindView Corporation. Chris is an industry resource on the topics of security management, virtualization security and regulatory compliance, and has spoken at RSA, SANS, Gartner, and Blackhat conferences. Chris is a SANS Community Instructor, SANS Local Mentor and courseware author. He holds the CISSP, GSEC and GCIH certifications.

Randy Streu
Vice President, Product Strategy

Prior to joining Configuresoft, Mr. Streu held a senior Product Management position with BMC Software, a leading developer of e-business and distributed systems management software. Before BMC, Mr. Streu held senior positions in Hewlett-Packard's OpenView division where he helped create Application Availability and Performance applications. Mr. Streu has also held senior technical positions with Compaq and The Prudential where he served as a System Architect.

Chris Wilburn
Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Business Development

Chris Wilburn brings more than 17 years of business development, corporate mergers and acquisitions, product management and marketing experience to Configuresoft. Prior to joining Configuresoft, Mr. Wilburn held a senior role in business development at RSA, the Security Division of EMC, managing and planning for RSA's strategic technology partnerships. Before RSA, Mr. Wilburn held senior director roles for BindView Corporation (now Symantec Corporation) across business development, marketing and product planning. Prior to BindView, Mr. Wilburn held positions in product marketing and sales with Mission Critical Software acquired by NetIQ Corporation. Mr. Wilburn earned his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Texas in San Antonio.
